Warnings: Downsides of bad credit and applying for credit cards

There are options available besides the usual bankcards. They provide consumers with bad credit the advantage of having an average credit card that is used by people with good credit.

There are some downsides of having bad credit that may hinder consumer from obtaining a credit card. There are lower credit limits available, interest rates are often higher, and there is the chance that a consumer with a very bad credit history could end up rejected.
